I've installed "win 8 release preview evaluation copy. I tried to update the driver software of it.. An update is found.. Driver is not intended for this platform" Whenever I open device manager the device is always with yellow mark The modem worked properly in win 7 and XP I had the same problem while I used win 8 32 bit..

But I solved the problem by updating the driver software.. Even I was going through this problem.. After through research I solved it All you have to do is copy the cmnsusbser. Well all versions of Micromax MMX modem will work fine. Just follow the steps below:. Now install the software , then restart the system.

Connect the modem and start the software it shows no device then exit the application from the task manager. Go for Other devices , simply uninstall all the drivers related to modem there better uninstall both with or without yellow mark 7. Go to Action menu and click on Scan for hardware changes. Now simply open the MMX usb manager and it works fine.
